Bekah Waalkes

Bekah Waalkes is a writer, critic, and academic based in Boston. She is currently a Postdoctoral Fellow at Boston College’s Institute for the Liberal Arts. She holds a PhD in English from Tufts University, where she was a Dissertation Fellow at the Center for the Humanities at Tufts. Her writing has appeared in The Washington Post, The Atlantic, Dirt, The Baffler, Real Life Magazine, Longreads, and The Millions, among others. She is books editor at Mid Theory Collective and a contributing writer for the Cleveland Review of Books. 🦆
